This one-of-a-kind house is going to give your family and friends the vacation of a lifetime! Located on Lakeshore Road in the heart of Union Pier, Barefoot Beach House is an eight-bedroom, nine-bath luxury home right on Lake Michigan. Combining a four-bedroom casual main house and a recently-built four-bedroom carriage house, this is one of the largest lakefront properties available in the area. Guests will first encounter the carriage house, which lies at the front of the property. Upon entering the turret on the main level, you'll be swept away by the enormous chandelier overhead and the circular balcony overlooking the entryway.

From the connecting hallway, guests enter the main floor of the practical and casual main house. The kitchen, dining, and living areas, as well as three of the four bedrooms, the half-bath, and the two bathrooms are all located on the main level. Like the carriage house, the kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances that include a huge french-door refrigerator. A black granite island offers plenty of counter space with barstool seating for three.

Guests will appreciate the extensive views from the carriage house through the set of large folding doors which open onto the expansive outdoor patio and pool area. Guests will also love the geothermally-heated stone floor, the overhead lighting recessed into the beautiful wood ceiling, and the multi-room indoor/outdoor audio system. This hallway houses a built-in grill station with extra burners, a sink, a warming drawer, and an under-cabinet fridge and ice machine. Smoke from the grill is no problem, as there is a built-in exhaust fan laid into the copper paneled ceiling, and there is another set of large folding doors that also open fully to the patio/pool area. Located on the 1st floor overlooking Hermosa Beach, each Strand Ocean Front studio suite has a living room area with a beautiful fireplace and patio. All have king-size beds with a queen sleeper sofa in the step down living room area.

Guests under the age of 21 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. If the agreement is not received, the guest should contact the property management company at the number on the booking confirmation. The decor and design of the home were well chosen for a relaxing beach getaway. The garage was equipped with fun games, including a ping pong table that ultimately led to a family tournament.

Barefoot Beach House is located in Pacific City, just 21 miles from Chinook Winds Golf Resort and 23 miles from Tillamook Air Museum. The property is around a few steps from Pacific City Beach, a 10-minute walk from Cape Kiwanda Beach, and 1.6 miles from Bob Straub State Park Beach. There's also a seating area and a fireplace.Cape Meares Lighthouse is 25 miles from the vacation home, while Tillamook Cheese Factory is 26 miles away. The nearest airport is Portland International Airport, 104 miles from Barefoot Beach House.

It was lovely, would have liked to be able to take our fur kids off the leads more often, it was not really pet friendly as majority of people that we encountered there were afraid of dogs. An additional small seating area is situated by the front door where guests will find a private library and lots of fun board games to challenge each other with. My family of four along with another family of five had the pleasure of staying at the Barefoot Beach House and we had an incredible experience. The kids had a blast playing in the game room, taking dips in the hot tub and spending time at the nearby park and beaches. We also enjoyed sharing meals and playing games with our families in the large kitchen and dining spaces. It is a short walk to the beach and steps away from restaurants, shops and activities, including free bike rentals. Plus, there are even more shops and beaches within a 10-minute drive to Ocean Shores.
